February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month—a time to raise awareness about the vital role CTE plays in preparing students for college and careers while contributing to our nation's economic growth and workforce competitiveness. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of CTE students, educators, and community members across the country.

At Troy ISD, we are proud to offer industry-recognized certifications that equip our students with the skills and credentials they need to succeed in high-demand career fields. Each year, over 50% of our graduates earn an Approved Industry-Based Certification (Troy Independent School District, 2023).  These certifications not only provide a competitive edge but also empower students to pursue their goals with confidence and purpose.

Through our CTE programs, Troy ISD is committed to creating opportunities that connect education to real-world experiences, ensuring our students are future-ready and prepared to make an impact.
