Title IX is a federal civil rights law passed as part of the Education Amendments of 1972. This law protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive Federal financial assistance.
It is the policy of the Troy Independent School District not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender, national origin, age, disability, or any other basis prohibited by law in its employment or in providing education or access to benefits of educational services, activities and programs.
