August 12, 2019 Update
On May 4, 2019, Troy ISD voters approved an $18.25 million bond package that will fund facilities improvements at all campuses. The factors contributing to the board’s decision to call the bond election were projected enrollment growth, a goal of expanding student opportunities, and the fact that the 1999 bond package will be retired in August of 2019. The first project to be completed with bond proceeds is the new parent drop-off and pick-up drive at Mays Elementary School. Presently, the Troy ISD Board of Trustees and district administrators are in consultation with architects and construction company personnel as they plan the improvements coming in the months ahead. More information will be posted here as work gets underway. Thank you, Troy ISD voters, for your support as we work to provide quality classroom, career and technical education, athletics, and fine arts spaces for our students.
