The Troy Education Enhancement Foundation provides philanthropic support to promote excellence in teaching to inspire student learning through faculty and staff enrichment. 

The Troy Education Enhancement Foundation (TEEF) believes that success in the future lies in the enhancement of the education of our students.  Each student is unique, has the ability to learn, has an inherent desire for success, and will contribute in some way to society.  Teachers need support to provide the tools necessary for student success. TEEF is committed to contributing to the success of both students and staff.

Grant Information

The Foundation membership is comprised of alumni, parents, staff of Troy ISD, community members, businesses, and other benefactors. The Troy Education Enhancement Foundation provides philanthropic support to promote excellence in teaching to inspire student learning through faculty and staff enrichment. Educational grants are designed to encourage, facilitate, recognize, and reward innovative instructional approaches to meeting program objectives. Grants will be expected to enhance academic performance and support the objectives, goals, and initiatives of the Campus Improvement Plan and District Improvement Plan. Each year, Troy ISD teachers submit grant applications to fund their ideas and teaching innovations. The Troy Education Enhancement Foundation program brings these ideas to life in the classroom and the lives of the students when other funding may not be available.

WHO CAN JOIN?

Individuals employed by Troy ISD who are involved in the instruction of students or related support services benefitting students in the school district, are eligible to join.

 

WHAT WILL WE FUND?

Grants may be used to fund instructional programs, classroom materials, or any activity that supports higher levels of student achievement. All funded programs should be evaluated by the end of the proposed semester and no later than the end of the school year and not overlap into the next school year.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

The project rationale is clearly stated.

Consistency with the Campus Improvement Plan and District Improvement Plan.

Objectives are defined and attainable. Educational outcomes are stated and measurable.

Positive impact on the identified district needs is certain. Project is clearly outlined showing benefit to students and/or staff.

Project innovation/creativity is clearly stated.

An evaluation component is built into the project. Methods for evaluating the effectiveness of the project are included, and specific measurable activities are identified.

The project’s methods are research based and instructionally sound. The project standards and benchmarks are clearly identified. The timeline is clearly stated with dates that are attainable. All activities are linked to the timeline.

The project budget is complete; requested items are listed in priority order. Detail for each requested item is thorough and complete.

  • January 07, 2025 —Announcement of Grant Process, Application Requirements, and Timeline to all faculty and staff

  • March 21, 2025 – Due date for applications

    All applications must be printed, signed, and then turned in to the District Curriculum and Technology Offices on the west side of Troy High School.

    No emailed applications will be accepted.

  • March-April, 2025 – Anonymous scoring by TEEF Grants Committee

     

  • May 23, 2025 – Recognition of 2025 awardees during the Employee Appreciation Luncheon
