District of Innovation
The Troy ISD Board of Trustees at its regular meeting on May 16, 2022, approved the proposed Local Innovation Plan. The board-approved District of Innovation plan allows Troy ISD to waive certain rules and requirements set forth in the Texas Education Code. The plan, provided below, remains in effect for five years. On September 18, 2023, the Board of Trustees voted to amend the DOI plan. The updated plan is provided below.
Proposed District of Innovation Plan for 2027-2032
On September 28, 2026, the District Educational Improvement Committee met to review a proposed Local Innovation Plan renewal for Troy ISD for the years 2027-2032. The Board of Trustees is slated to consider the plan during the November 21, 2026, regular meeting. Members of the public may ask questions or comment on the plan.
