District Educational Improvement Committee (DEIC)

District Educational Improvement Committee

The District Educational Improvement Committee (DEIC) provides staff and community input as the committee reviews the educational goals, objectives, and major district-wide initiatives.

The DEIC also assists in developing recommendations for the district calendar and professional development for staff members. The committee serves in an advisory capacity, making recommendations to the administration for consideration. Members are elected from each campus and from the district level.

Additional representatives may include parents, law enforcement, clergy, business owners, and others interested in supporting Troy ISD schools. Dr. Darrell Becker is chair of the committee. Contact the district office at 254-938-2595 if you would like to learn more.
