TEEF Awards $52,798 in Educator Excellence Grants

The Troy Education Enhancement Foundation (TEEF) has once again demonstrated its commitment to educational excellence by awarding 16 grants totaling $52,798 for the 2025-2026 school year. These grants will benefit every campus within Troy Independent School District, supporting a diverse array of innovative projects aimed at enhancing student learning.
“We are so grateful to TEEF for funding 16 more grants for 2025-26. Every campus will be positively impacted by their generosity.” Superintendent Neil Jeter expressed his appreciation. “Our staff submitted innovative projects that will enrich our students’ educational experiences in the areas of core curriculum, electives, extracurricular activities, and special populations. We are excited to watch how the grants will benefit our students next year and beyond.”
This year's funded projects span a wide range of educational initiatives, from kindergarten financial literacy to helping expand Troy High School’s One Act Play program.
Kristin Childress, a grant recipient, highlighted the impact of author visits funded by TEEF
TES and RMMS received grants to help bring Texas authors onto their campuses. Having our students meet real authors of books that they read is invaluable. Watching a video of an author talking about their process is one thing, but to have that author right in front of you interacting, collaborating is quite another. I can’t wait to see how our students are encouraged and inspired by our author visits!
TEEF's mission is to provide philanthropic support to promote excellence in teaching and inspire student learning through faculty and staff enrichment. The foundation believes that success in the future lies in enhancing the education of students, recognizing that each student is unique and has the ability to learn and contribute to society. By supporting staff with necessary tools and resources, TEEF is committed to the success of both students and educators .
