District to Make Up Missed School Days

Troy ISD will be in session on the two “bad weather days” originally built into the calendar, April 15 and May 26, 2022. The “bad weather days” are provided in the calendar as contingencies for unexpected school closures. Because Troy ISD was forced to close for three days this winter due to icy conditions, it will be necessary for students to attend classes on both of the bad weather days. A revised version of the calendar with the changes reflected is available HERE. The last day of school will now be Thursday, May 26, which will be an early release for students. Because the district had a one-day cushion built into the calendar, only two of the three missed days must be made up. Troy High School commencement will remain Tuesday, May 24 at the Bell County Expo Center at 7:00 pm.
