CTE Nondiscrimination Statement

Career & Technical Education Public Notification of Nondiscrimination

Troy ISD offers Career & Technical Education programs that are aligned to the Texas Foundation High School Program Endorsements.

Admission to these programs is based on interest and aptitude, age appropriateness and class space availability.

It is the policy of Troy ISD not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex or handicap in its vocational programs, services or activities as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended.

Troy ISD will take steps to assure that lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participating in all educational and vocational programs.

For more information about your rights or grievance procedures, contact Title IX Student Coordinator Brad McMurtry at 254-938-2595 and/or Section 504 Coordinator Dr. Darrell Becker at 254-938-2561, or Mike Jones at 254-938-2561, #1 Trojan Rd. Troy, TX 76579.
