Athletic Sports Banquet 2024

Aloha spirit filled the air as the Trojan Booster Club hosted its annual sports banquet, honoring the achievements of student athletes from the  2023-24 school year.

The Hawaiian-themed evening, complete with colorful leis and tropical decor, brought together coaches, players, and families to celebrate the dedication, teamwork, and excellence of our athletes.

 

The following students were recognized as Most Valuable Players (MVP) for the 2023-24 year:

The following students were recognized with scholarships for the 2023-24 year: 

 

The “I Bleed Maroon” $1,000 scholarships were awarded to these senior athletesTo qualify, recipients must have a GPA higher than 3.0, completed essay questions, and submit their application on time. Additionally, demonstrating financial need, being enrolled at THS, and participating in athletics for all four years in at least one sport. Recipients must have also completed a total of 28 volunteer hours, averaging 7 hours per year. Lastly, acceptance into a higher education program:

A night filled with tropical drinks and cookies, inspiring stories, and well-deserved recognition. The booster club's event was a fitting tribute to the hardworking students who make Troy ISD proud on and off the field.
